CARDS EH! - Unique playing cards designed for fun and education

* Cards Eh! available in English and French, is a unique deck of educational playing cards, with 54 different faces, that colourfully celebrate Canadian heritage and geography.

In Cards Eh! the 10 provinces, 3 territories and country as a whole are each associated with one of the 13 traditional Ace to King denominations (e.g. Canada=3DAce, British Columbia=3D2, etc.) while the 4 traditional suits, hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs, are associated with coats-of-arms, flags, major cities, and major rivers and lakes respectively. Also indicated are the dates of confederation, total land area, capital cities and mottos for each province and territory. The two wild cards in the deck carry the National Anthem (both verses, in English and French).

Because the deck includes the standard playing card demarcations, all traditional card games can be played with Cards Eh!. In addition, many traditional card games can also be augmented to promote learning of basic Canadian heritage and geography. In order to encourage the educational aspect of Cards Eh!, four additional cards are included with the deck. Two of these cards provide examples of how traditional card games can be modified for educational purposes and the other two cards summarize the dates of confederation, land areas, capital cities and mottos in order to provide a quick reference during educational games.

Get Bear Smart includes the standard playing card demarcations and therefore can be used for all traditional card games. In addition, many popular card games can be augmented to promote learning about how to share the land with bears and how to co-exist with bears safely whether at home or while traveling. For educational purposes, additional cards are included with Get Bear Smart. These cards provide examples of how to modify traditional card games to further teach about bears.
